Mmm I have a bunch of crazy cheese and herb bread  from the food pantry so I think what I'm going to do is make croutons  out of it. They're good for salads, poultry dressing, or you can add pretzels to it and make a make shift gardetto  style snack. And it keeps longer then leaving it as a loaf. And  😁 I've been trying various style of spicing with these anything from Spanish style to Italian

1 loaf cheesy herb bread
Olive oil
Garlic salt
Pepper
Optional
Basil
Orageno
Parsley
Chives
Onion powder

For Mexican style
Use a cheese bread or chedder jalapeño
Olive  oil
Cayenne
Chilli powder
Lime salt or pepper
Lime juice salt

Cut loaf into bit size cubes or chips depending  of what your using them for.  Place in an oven pan, add olive oil and garlic salt and pepper make sure to mix it up real good. Bake for 2 hours for a soft center and 5 hours for crunchy or you can check it periodically to find out how crunchy you like it  and check the spices see if it needs more

So yesterday at the food pantry I lucked out they had a ton of produce for some reason. And I managed to get a very lovelyrics package  of fingerling  potatoes  that were spices Italian style with rosemary, and a carton of chopped onion and celery 😀          so I made mash.

1/2 stick salted butter
Spiced fingerling potatoes
Chopped onion
Chopped celery
Salt
Pepper
1 cup hot water

In a large sauce pan melt  butter on medium heat, when it's melted add onions and celery. Cook for 10 minutes, add potatoes, rosemary (optional), cook for 5 minutes add hot water, bring water to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Cook potatoes  until soft can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes depends on how many potatoes  and size. Check potatoes  by smooshing  one if it smooshes  easily they are ready to be smooshed. Smooth potatoes together (if this combo has blue fingerLing potatoes  it will look kind of gross)
Cook in low for 5 minutes and salt and pepper to taste

This stuff  goes amazing  with chicken. If your making a whole chicken  you can probably  stuff   the chicken with it.

To make it a chicken dressing following cooking instructions  but while smooshing the potatoes  leave them a little chunky and add bread bread crumbs to taste

Another thing I got from the food pantry yesterday was tons and tons of bread. So what do I do. I grab the artisan cheese and garlic bread and make croutons.

Loaf of bread ( garlic, cheese, herb, jalapeño and chedder or your choice to yoir taste)
Butter or olive oil
Garlic salt

Preheat oven to 225°
Cube bread to quarter inch
Place in a baking pan
add olive oil and garlic salt
Bake until crispy approx 1-4 hours I like to slow baking but you can pull them out in an hour
