This week, we'll this week was not good one for ingredients, how ever I got a ton and I mean a ton of kitchens of India basmati rice. Now for people who are wanting to diet, flush they're systems etc. This is a good dish for quick and easy at work or feeling lazy meal. If you are looking to cut sodium out of your system stay away from any ethnic package noodle they all have tons of sodium. personally I like Indian food but the heat gets to me to make it so I can taste some of the flavors of the inferno on my plate I add 1 tbs ranch or mild ceasar dressing. Makes it a little more tolerable And tasty, for people who down right don't like Indian food if you don't have a choice grab it anyways if it's premixed spices and all you can always dump a bunch of ranch on it.m so it tastes like spicy ranch rice. If it's separate packs and such you can Always do so e thing with carb from those packets. They are great for homemade chicken soup and it's awesome if you don't like or Re gluten intolerant. They are usually rice based. Even the rice is amazing to use in soups.
Another thing that I grabbed was bread lots of bread, french onion soup, and hamburger meat. What can I do? Well that's salsbury steak my style.
1 can cambells french onion
Homemade bread crumbs or you can use the dressing to if you have it
And of course hamburger meat. Then add onion soup to
Add bread crumbs to hamburger about 1/4 to half fup depending on bread crumbs. Mix it up real good add french onion soup slowly you don't want it get to mushy or have to much bread and not enough meat. Add appox 1 cup soup. Depends o if you like hour salsbury steak tough or tender less for tough, more for tender. Save half can of soup or 1/4 cup. For basting and making gravy. Now be careful with French onion soup it can sometimes be way to salty always double check soup and add water to lessen the saltiness.
If you cant get french onion =) you can make it.
4 tbs butter, margarine or oil
One onion
1 cube beef bullion for every cup of soup
Melt butter, in a soup pan meanwhile slice onion, and to melted butter let cook till Transparent, stir every few minutes on medium high heat, takes about 10 minutes. The add cups of water can make maximum of 6 cups minium 2 cups add 1 bullion cube for every cup of water,

, this week I kind of have to scratch my head at what the food pantry had, mostly because it was all sheer dumb luck that I could use it all to make some decent ramen noodles, and few meals of pan fried noodles and veggies
How you should make ramen noodles whether it's stove top, nissen, or sappiro
Pick
2-4 veggies
1-3 protein
if it's inexpensive brand match twith the flavor i.e. chicken with chicken flavor, unless your using fish for a protein using or multiple proteins
Tonight I used
Chinese celery
Carrots
Onions
Pork
Sappiro Japanese noodles i.e. fancy oriental flavored ramen.
Pan fried noodles cook up ramen w/o seasoning

Mmm I have a bunch of crazy cheese and herb bread from the food pantry so I think what I'm going to do is make croutons out of it. They're good for salads, poultry dressing, or you can add pretzels to it and make a make shift gardetto style snack. And it keeps longer then leaving it as a loaf. And 😁 I've been trying various style of spicing with these anything from Spanish style to Italian
1 loaf cheesy herb bread
Olive oil
Garlic salt
Pepper
Optional
Basil
Orageno
Parsley
Chives
Onion powder
For Mexican style
Use a cheese bread or chedder jalapeño
Olive oil
Cayenne
Chilli powder
Lime salt or pepper
Lime juice salt
Cut loaf into bit size cubes or chips depending of what your using them for. Place in an oven pan, add olive oil and garlic salt and pepper make sure to mix it up real good. Bake for 2 hours for a soft center and 5 hours for crunchy or you can check it periodically to find out how crunchy you like it and check the spices see if it needs more

So yesterday at the food pantry I lucked out they had a ton of produce for some reason. And I managed to get a very lovelyrics package of fingerling potatoes that were spices Italian style with rosemary, and a carton of chopped onion and celery 😀 so I made mash.
1/2 stick salted butter
Spiced fingerling potatoes
Chopped onion
Chopped celery
Salt
Pepper
1 cup hot water
In a large sauce pan melt butter on medium heat, when it's melted add onions and celery. Cook for 10 minutes, add potatoes, rosemary (optional), cook for 5 minutes add hot water, bring water to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Cook potatoes until soft can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes depends on how many potatoes and size. Check potatoes by smooshing one if it smooshes easily they are ready to be smooshed. Smooth potatoes together (if this combo has blue fingerLing potatoes it will look kind of gross)
Cook in low for 5 minutes and salt and pepper to taste
This stuff goes amazing with chicken. If your making a whole chicken you can probably stuff the chicken with it.
To make it a chicken dressing following cooking instructions but while smooshing the potatoes leave them a little chunky and add bread bread crumbs to taste
Another thing I got from the food pantry yesterday was tons and tons of bread. So what do I do. I grab the artisan cheese and garlic bread and make croutons.
Loaf of bread ( garlic, cheese, herb, jalapeño and chedder or your choice to yoir taste)
Butter or olive oil
Garlic salt
Preheat oven to 225°
Cube bread to quarter inch
Place in a baking pan
add olive oil and garlic salt
Bake until crispy approx 1-4 hours I like to slow baking but you can pull them out in an hour
1/2 stick salted butter
Spiced fingerling potatoes
Chopped onion
Chopped celery
Salt
Pepper
1 cup hot water
