1. Freezer is your best friend
2. Gords  last for a long time so grab them if they have them, squash, squash and more squash.
3. If it's left over and you don't know what to do with it grab it anyways there's a recipe  online for anything.
4. Anything unappetizing  can be made appetizing if you need the nutrients.

I say those things because they all apply to my recipe tonight  

I made bacon wrapped turkey legs with baked cubed butternut squash. The turkey legs I just got from the pantry and ew I can't stand turkey, not much of poultry fan never have. Been so I stuffed them and dressed them in bacon thay I had gotten from the pantry at the beginning  of summer. But I froze. 

The squash I had gotten at least a month ago if not more. Anyways let me get on with my recipes 

Bacon stuffed and wrapped turkey legs

2. Turkey legs
1 LB bacon
 Salt
Pepper


Slice the legs at the thigh aND stuff with 1-2 slices of bacon. Then close the slice and wrap in bacon. Place in oven at 425° for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours always check and make sure poul try is at 180°.  let meat rest for a couple minutes


Baked  squash

1 butternut squash
1 apple
1 onion
1 stick butter
Garlic salt
Pepper


Peel and Cube butternut  squash, place in oven safe bowl add chopped apple, garlic salt, pepper, then melt butter aND drizzle over squash and butternut, then add chopped onion, and place in oven at 425 for 25 minutes check onion and squash for softness
