Today I got a whole chicken and some pre cut veggies 

1 chicken
10 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 soft stick of butter 
Salt
Pepper 

Add cloves salt pepper in food processor
And mix.
Rub inside outside and under skin nout side of chicken. Tie
Stuff with veggies or dressing place in oven at 425 for 30 minutes then set at 375 for 60 minuts check temp at 180 
Let rest for 20 minutes carve and serve

Excited today lots of wonderful produce. Probably going to have many many recipes this week.

First off same ole same ole lots of bread
Found a better way to dry them for croutons.

Oven at 175 let them dry for 3-4 hours. Amazing.

Secondly they gave us frozen rotisserie chicken. Now best way to reheat is the oven. Same with defrost. Oven at 175. Leave it for 5 hours amazing!!!!

Cut chicken in too quarters. Serve with lemon cut into round slices on top

On the side
 mashed potatoes
, canned green
Bean, peas,
Salad mix if you have with homemade croutons

So from the pantry I got some skirt steak and Miscellanious veggies.

Spegetti squash, red,yellow bell peppers. Super Thin cut steak.teriyaki sauce

I decided to make steak wrap with it

Cooking twine, 100% cotton twine, hemp twine,
Olive oil
Red abd yellow bell peppers
Spegetti squash
Carrots
Teriyaki
2 dashes
Chive
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Parsley

Thinly sliced veggie the thinner the better. Preheat oven to 400*

Then put the veggies on the meat and roll as tight as possible.tie with 100% cotton, cooking twine or hemp twine.

In a pan add 3 tbs Olive oil on medium high heat place roll in pan brown all sides.

Then on an oven sheet place on center rack spice one side with spices adding green spices last. Cook 10-15 minutes and turn spice other side. Cook for 10-15 minutes add teriyaki cook for 5 minutes.
Take one out slice to check the meat and veggies

Meat should have no blood or red although steak a little pink is okay as long as its not too old.

The veggies should be soft carrots may not be. If you want them softer cook 5 minute incriments until desired texture. Really great camping meal or cook out good for grilling to.

Made fruit smoothie I got some berries that did not last as long as I wanted them to. :(

So I made a raspberry aqua smoothie

Raspberries
1 tbs sugar per ever 4 oz berry juice
Lemon

In blender or food processor add berries and lemon juice mix taste + suger if need be then add 1/4 cup water and taste to tell

XD so happy had what I needed for broccoli and Chedder soup. Here

16 oz sliced broccoli
1 LB Velveeta cubes
1/2. Cup butter
1 onion
1 cup water
2/3 cornstarch
 30 oz chicken stock

In a pot melt butter medium heat, add diced onions. Cook until tranapparent then add broccoli add chicken stock boil 5-10 minutes. Then add cheese melt thoroughly.

In a bowl mix water and starch until starch is dissolved. Then add to veggie cheese mix and stir until thick.
Bake if desired or if you luck out use a bread bowl and bake it in a bread bowl for a half hour. At 350. XD enjoy its way better homemade!!!!

So I went to a pantry today. That I hadn't been to in awhile and I was very sad. There was excellent food and I do have a recipe but I must talk about something before I do.

If you have to eat out of a food pantry weekly. You should not be rude to the people who volunteer. Period. You should not sign in other people if they are not there. You should not scam the staff into letting you go first every week. (With an excuse  that is not true.)if you are able to help with the truck you should offer. You shouldn't complain. About the driver. Those people are there to help you get food.( for yourself and your family) they should be treated with nothing but respect. I was sad, there were measures that this pantry had too take. so that people get what they need in fair manner. They also. Had to bring up other things before we were able to get food because people were being unkind and selfish. I'm surprised with all the things they had to do to make it fair. That they still have this pantry. god bless them for putting up with peoples garbage. If you need charity don't crap on the people who are willing to help out of the kindness of their hearts.

Anyways .my pantry recipe today stuffed cheese bowl

Tomatoes
Broccolli
Chedder cheese
Sour dough bread bowl

Cut the top off so its like a bowl put sliced deseeded tomatoes in add spice if desired
Add cut up broccoli. Place 1 cup of cubed cheddar cheese place in oven at 400 check every 10 mintes or go by smell.
Serve with chicken or what ever you have available

So I know one like to read ranting, but culinary  wise; and don't get me wrong  I'm no culinary  genius but holy cow people. Stop eating condensed cambells soup sludge and saying its too salty. I hate to break it to you but its not salty, your lazy. I get it most people usually  open the can throw the sludge in bowl and microwave it.its to salty because you are eating  concentrated soup. A can of soup can almost feed 3 people. I hate eh it's too salty ugh I m getting  fat from eating cambells soup even though it's only 100 calories. Um if you eat a can of soup without diluting it. your eating 1 1/2 extra servings. They have come out with variety of products  that are for people who eat the condensed soup without diluting. Like my favorite  and makes me want to rip my hair out every time I see it. Low sodium  condensed soup, have you ever tried to make low sodium  condensed soup the proper way it's disgusting.  I have to add salt to it. I've  resorted to making my own soup because condensed  is pointless. Every place with cambells  condensed  is low sodium. Thank you lazy people you are now effecting my laziness and because you  want to eat soup sludge. I mean seriously soup made properly is not that salty. ugh any ways I'm going to share a cream of mushroom soup recipe. because this just makes feel the need to share that knowledge in hopes that when I feel lazy enough not make soup from scratch I can atleast by regular. Did I mention also that if you eat 2.5 serving everyday you are going to gain weight because you are eating enough food for 2 people. Everything people buy now A days is secretly already in bulk. Look at how many serving is in every container of food you buy. Some thing Re like 18 serving and most people eat it in one sitting

Ready 1 can condensed soup
1 can water or milk
stir and microwave for 2-3 minutes depending on how powerful your microwave is. Boom soup not sludge enjoy
So its summer woo hoo today I got red bell pepper, green,yellow, cucumber, and purple red grapes.

I made fresh summer relish (gluten

Use a third of each pepper and dice
Dice cucumber
Cute grapes in half or quarters

2-3 table spoons red balsamic

Serve over garlic bread with white cheese
Serve on egg with cheese
Serve on top of water melon

So I sent my fiance to the pantry he came back with English muffins, frozen
 Spinach,lemons, eggs, and unsalted butter and lots and lots of canned  vegetables and meats.
Not really what I wouldve picked but the choices were slim and he grabbed what he thought I could use

I decided to try to make eggs florentine

1 tbs fresh lemon juice
1 stick unsalted butter (melted 40 secs in microwave)
4 egg yolks
Spinach

( set whites aside)



Cook spinach and drain. Set aside

In a clear heat safe mixing bowl or double pan add. Yolks and lemon juice whisk or I like to be lazy and use a mixer whisk vigorous until it doubles in size.
Then in a medium size pot or lower pot boil enough water so it does not touch the bowl or upper pot when boiling. Place bowl/upper pot over pot add butter and whisk. Until thickened take off lower pot immediately. And place in a separate bowl immediately.

Now i prefer not to waste Any thing so place egg whites in a small bowl or a microwave egg poacher. 1 min microwave. If you wish to poach whole eggs for this go for it. In the microwave place in small bowl very very important they will explode other wise pierce yolks with a knife and add 1 tbs water. Cover abd cook for a minute in microwave or until done.
On plate place English muffin spinach on top of muffin then place poached egg/white a dump the hollandaise sauce on serve ASAP.
If the hollandaise sauce over cooks I like to drain the butter abd  eat it like on egg sandwich w/ spinach on the side.  Enjoy.

For new moms of kids who are just starting to eat. Who are just gaining weight and cant seem to stop gaining ive figured out a good formula for either losing or not gaining weight.

Unfortunatly as mom your gonna try the food your feeding ypur lil one its hard not to that stuff is so good. Unfortunatly for an adult body it can make you gain a ton of weight. And its gonna continue until their almost done being toddler.

I figured out if i eat what my kiddo doesnt and if im still hungry folllow it up with a salad. Then i dont gain weight. I will also get pacific tomato pepper organic soup from sams club. And i will eat one if the salad wasnt satisfying enough. Your average salad has very little or no calories in it. The main thing that gives you calories is the dressing. So always follow the serving sizes usually 2 tbs unless you like to smother your salad then. Try a home made oil vineger, toasted sesame, something with an oil less calories. Balances it better.

If i dont split a meal with my tot, this is what my meals kind a look like

Bf
Nuttigrain bar or honey vanilla greek yogurt wuth cut up blue berries, green grapes and strswberries

Lunch
Meal salad.
The works mixed greens, fresh lemon juice,  croutons or other crunchy garnish, 2 different types of cut veggies depending on type of salad, cheese, meat, pepper, and other spices. You ca also put pickled veggies on mild or spicy peppers, beets, red cabbage, and dressing.

Dinner

Some type of meat
Small side salad
Fruit

If im not satisfied i always make arugula salads w dressing nothing fancy. Some days i eat 2 at night.

As Ive said in the past " freezer is your bestfriend" however if you dont label things you have mystery meat. I recent forgot to label something and i ended up making mystery meat balls. No clue what it was. However with proper measurements of ingredients you can make nutrious and tasty.

The meat I used (which i later found out was ground turkey)  was white. Now because it was white it couldve been pork or poultry. When ever you are unsure of what the meat is,  use a meat thermometer. Always!!! Because if it clearly is not beef or lamb it must be heated to 180 period. Atleast that is how I feel. But the recipe i have for wtf  do i do with this white ground meat. Is meat balls and they are pretty tasty. Specially when you have something like that in the freezer and its starting to go to waste bc you dont know what it is.

3 eggs
1 lb white ground meat
Medium onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Bread crumbs (or rice if you want gluten free. Use 1-2 eggs for gluten free)

Put meat in a mixing bowl add 1 egg, 1/4 cup bread crumbs. mix thouroghly. *easiest with hands

Puree onion with food processor
Or dice as small as physically possible

Add to meat mix, add 2 more eggs. add bread crumbs if its liquidy mix well, add garlic powder. Make meat balls approx 1-2 inchs big. Pop in the oven at 425* for twenty minutes give or take check internal temp w thermometor before eating. Always!!!!

If you have instant french onion soup you can make that in a pan let it simmer. so it gets a little thick and put over meat balls  like a salsbury steak.

I like too cook spegetti and have spegetti and alfrado sauce on the side. Or my 2 year old likes them cut with a small cup of alfrado sauce for dipping.

You can also serve with buttered egg noodles good for a light healthy meal

So im happy to announce that i can kind of afford food for my family. Really its my town got an aldi :) which is a wonderful store. Everything is signifigantly cheaper . Alot of the food they sell is aldis brand which comes from the big companies but its cheaper bc its an off brand that doesnt pay for advertisement.
It can be hit or miss sometimes but majority if the things they carry regularly. They have aldis deals which is they find something that is premium and can sell it for great price. Anyways  ill explain what i made from aldis

Fresh baby spinach greek salad.

Spinach
Mild peppers
Shreded parmessean cheese
House ceasar or olive garden italian
Black pepper
Lemon optional

Put spinach in a bowl, squeeze fresh lemon over spinach optional. add mild peppers add as many or as few as you like.( I like tons so to each their own.)
Sprinkle cheese on top approx 2 tbs
Add 2 tbs dressing, and pepper to taste

Spinach olive lasangna

Lasangna oven ready
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup shredded parmesean
1 1/2 cup mozzerella
Olive spegetti sauce
Cup fresh spinach
1 lb ground beef

Mix ricotta,eggs,parmessean, mozzerella togther, meanwhile finely dice spinach or use a food processor. Then add spinach to ricotta mixture. (Will have a green hue from the spinach)

Brown beef, drain and then add pasta sauce. Slowly stir in a 1/4 cup water to thin out a bit to cook the noodles it will look watery dont fret.

Then heat oven to 400 *F
In an oven safe dish add meat sauce mixture, then place 1 noodle layer. Then add ricotta on top of noodle, meat etc. You can throw in different types of layers if you want like mushrooms or spinach. Add cheese ontop when finished  and bake for 60 minutes and check ever half hour. if time needs to be increased 10 minutes at a time

Once its out of the oven let it cool for 10 minutes.


The beauty if this is I can feed my family if three for a week on with this recipe for and the ingredient were under 20$
